Michael Goodwin QC has secured the acquittal of his client, who was tried at Maidstone Crown Court for offences of serious violence.

The prosecution had alleged a campaign of sustained physical violence, abuse, and persistent battering within a domestic context. The alleged injuries included a fractured jaw to the complainant.

The defence case preparation had involved the complex investigation and piecing together of digital evidence, social media materials from multiple sources, and their presentation at trial.
