The nature, type and complexity of your case will determine how long it will take to resolve the case. Advising on, preparing for, and conducting criminal defence proceedings can take many months. Providing advice on discrete legal proceedings may be completed in a matter of weeks. If you instruct Michael to provide an initial review of your case, he will provide you with an estimate for how long it will take for him to complete the work required and the length of time your proceedings are likely to take.
Having instructed Michael on a Public Access basis, he would be able to deal with many aspects of the case. However you may have to assist in some areas, including filing documents with the court, issuing proceedings and notices and corresponding with parties.
